Hey, I’m Joy... creator, caffeine enthusiast, and professional cat-herder behind JoyCards.
JoyCards was born in 2019 out of pure geekery, nostalgia, and a love of weird little things that make people smile. What started as me sharing photos of my toy collection online quickly turned into “hey, can you make this into a card?” Then lockdown hit, I got furloughed from my job in the nonprofit world, and suddenly I had time to bring this oddball dream to life.
Fast forward to now, and I design, print, and fold every card from scratch here in Reading, UK, powered by too much coffee and three cats who contribute nothing but judgmental stares and occasional fur on the packing tape.
JoyCards is basically a love letter to all the things I’m obsessed with:

Whether you’re shopping for a fellow weirdo, sending something cheeky to your BFF, or just hoarding cards like a tiny paper dragon — I’m so glad you’re here. This little shop is just me and the things I love, and when you support it, you’re literally supporting a small UK business run by one woman and her three useless (but cute) supervisors.
